Min.: Plans to up Sheeni's revenues to EGP 40 to 45 mln in current FY

CAIRO - 16 July 2017: Minister of Public Enterprise Sector Ashraf el Sharkawy said the ministry plans to up revenues of the General Co. For Ceramic and Porcelain Products (Sheeni) to EGP 40 to 45 million in the fiscal year due to end June 30, 2018.

During an inspection tour of the company's factories in Qaliobiya, Sharkawy said the company's revenues stand at about EGP 6 million and this does not commensurate with the company's capabilities.

The minister called on the company's board to develop its marketing mechanism.

He also urged diversifying the company's products.
