Hassan Ghanem, Chairperson and Managing Director of HDB
The Housing and Development Bank (HDB) has launched its affiliate company Housing and Development Properties (HDP) for real estate marketing. HDP provides professional real estate marketing and investment services. It aims to be one of the largest real estate marketing companies in Egypt and the Middle East region.
The company has an ambitious expansion strategy to provide customers with integrated marketing and investment services at the highest level which enables it to increase the market share and attract new customers in this field, as well as provide the opportunity for it to have a distinctive presence through marketing the current projects owned by the Bank.
The launching ceremony of the company was attended by Hassan Ghanem, Chairperson and Managing Director of HDB, and Amgad Hassanein, Chairperson of HDP.
Ghanem said that HDB owns over 20 companies specialized in real estate and financing services. He added “the new company is the culmination of the success of the bank's development strategy of its affiliated companies. The strategy aims to develop the quality of services provided by each company, and ensure application of modern administrative, scientific, and training approaches using the best technologies and a team of professionals, to provide distinguished services to clients.”

Ghanem pointed out that HDB has a distinctive and unique business model. It is a combination of a long history of leadership in the field of urban development and a broad base of customers. Throughout 40 years, the bank has become one of the largest comprehensive commercial banks in the past few years during the entire development journey adopted by the bank.
Ghanem stressed that HDB continues to support and develop its companies, wishing success to the management of HDP. He said he is confident in the ability and efficiency of the company's work team to achieve its goal to become one of the largest real estate marketing companies in Egypt and the Middle East.
For his part, Amgad Hassanein said that the company was established to become the marketing and investment arm of HDB.
He added “HDP aims to become one of the top real estate marketing companies in Egypt and the Middle East, with its professionals and extensive experience in the field of marketing and real estate investment that qualifies it to compete strongly in this field, with the expansion of urban development, which is one of the most important trends of the state in present time.”

He pointed out that HDP will be responsible for marketing distinctive projects with attractive geographical locations, striving to ensure a distinctive residential experience.
According to Hassanein, during the coming period, several new projects will be announced, noting that all of them will meet sustainable urban development requirements, to enhance the efforts made towards creating a suitable and distinguished residential environment for customers.
