US dollar exchange rate stable at beginning of transactions

CAIRO, Oct 12 (MENA) - The US dollar exchange was stable at the beginning of Wednesday's transactions at Egypt's major banks.

At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar rate registered EGP 19.63 for buying and EGP 19.69 for selling.

At the Commercial International Bank (CIB), the dollar rate stood at EGP 19.65 for buying and EGP 19.71 for selling.

At the Arab African International Bank, the dollar rate recorded EGP 19.63 for buying and EGP 19.71 for selling.

According to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the average dollar rate at the Egyptian market registered EGP 19.63 for buying and EGP 19.70 for selling.

The euro price recorded EGP 19.00 for buying and EGP 19.16 for selling at Banque Misr and the NBE.

At the CIB, the euro price registered EGP 18.02 for buying and EGP 19.18 for selling.

According to the CBE, the average euro rate at the Egyptian market registered EGP 19.08 for buying and EGP 19.15 for selling.

The pound sterling at the NBE and Banque Misr registered EGP 21.44 for buying and EGP 21.77 for selling.

At the CIB, the pound sterling registered EGP 19.46 for buying and EGP 19.79 for selling.

According to the CBE, the average pound sterling rate at the Egyptian market registered EGP 21.78 for buying and EGP 21.87 for selling.

The Saudi riyal price stood at EGP 5.20 for buying and EGP 5.23 for selling at the NBE.
