CAIRO - 24 March 2022: It is scheduled to open 8,000 outlets for "Welcome Ramadan" exhibitions before the start of Ramadan in all governorates at reduced prices for citizens, The Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouli, announced Thursday.
 
"Egypt has a sufficient stock of goods which secures the availability of goods to citizens at reasonable prices," Madbouli confirmed.
 
This came during the opening of the Prime Minister, Thursday, accompanied by the Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Al-Moselhi, the Minister of Trade and Industry Nevin Gamea, the Governor of Cairo, Major General Khaled Abdel Aal, and the head of the Consumer Protection Agency, Engineer Ayman Hossam El-Din, the main exhibition of "Welcome Ramadan", which will run during March 24-31, at the Cairo International Conference Center in Nasr City, in the presence of representatives of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and officials of the concerned authorities.
 
He stressed that the government is making great efforts in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's mandate to provide a strategic reserve of basic commodities, to reassure citizens of the availability of various commodities and food products in every part of the country.
 
Madbouli said that President Sisi directed coordination between the concerned authorities to distribute "Ramadan packages" that include various food items, which the government worked to implement immediately through coordination with these authorities.
 
The government also worked to bring early the date of organizing a series of exhibitions “Welcome Ramadan” in all governorates of the Republic, and there are mobile cars that began roaming the Egyptian villages; to provide all the citizens needs of goods and food products at reduced prices.
 
During his inspection of the showrooms and the inspection of products and goods throughout the exhibition, the Prime Minister conducted a dialogue with a number of representatives of the exhibiting authorities and companies, and was assured of the existence of special discounts, offers and prices that meet the various needs of citizens.
 
He was assured that it includes the basic commodities that the citizen needs.
