CAIRO – 20 March 2022: Remittances of Egyptians abroad increased by 73 percent in 2015-2021, with an unprecedented amount of $31.5 billion in 2021 alone, according to a Sunday report by the Information and Decision Support Center.

In 2020, remittances amounted to $29.6 billion, and $26.8 billion in 2019 and $18.3 billion in 2019 and 2015, respectively.
