LUXOR, Egypt - 13 March 2022: The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) has signed agreements with Amazon and Jumia to allow Egyptian small, medium and emerging companies to display their products on the two commerce platforms.
Addressing a conference organized by the Union of Arab Banks (UAB) in Luxor, MSMEDA Deputy Chairman Tareq Shash said the deals are meant to enable Egyptian companies to make use of the two online platforms and help them export and open new markets.
He noted that there are 3.7 million small, medium and micro enterprises in Egypt, a matter that reflects the agency's keenness on providing them with financial and non-financial services to enable them to grow and expand.
