CAIRO - 3 March 2022: The Egyptian Gazette published in its issue, Thursday, Presidential Decision No. 471 of 2021, approving the headquarters agreement between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Eastern Mediterranean Gas Forum, signed in Cairo on July 6, 2021.
 
Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, witnessed with Natasha Peledis, Minister of Energy of Cyprus, Karen El Harar, Israeli Minister of Energy, and Saleh Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Jordan, the signing of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum with the Boston Consulting Group on the second phase of the long-term strategy of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum.
 
The ministry said in a statement, that this is based on the results of the first phase of the long-term strategy of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum, which was reviewed by the Boston Consulting Group “BCG” during the sixth ministerial meeting held in Cairo on November 25, 2021. The contract stipulates to develop the second phase of the strategy, to present a complete strategy for the forum by mid-2022.
