Minister of Communication and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Board Chairman of Banque Misr Mohammed El Etreby witnessed the signing ceremony.

In statements during the ceremony, Talaat underlined the importance of the protocol which aims at achieving integration with the banking sector to offer high-quality digital services to all citizens and save time and money.

The protocol is the fruit of cooperation between the ministry and all state sectors to achieve change in a digital society and enhance the state policy of applying financial inclusion, the minister added.

Banque Misr Board Chairman Mohamed El Etreby, for his part, asserted that cooperation with MCIT is necessary to ensure offering the best electronic services to all segments of the society and ease any transactions needed by clients as much as possible.

The protocol will help the bank allow its clients to access all services at Digital Egypt Platform through mobile applications and internet banking through the API integration, El Etreby explained.
