CAIRO - 2 February 2022: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli chaired a meeting on Tuesday to follow up on a program for listing a number of government companies in the Egyptian bourse (EGX) in 2022.

Ministers Tarek el Molla of Petroleum, Hala el Saeed of Planning, Mohamed Maait of Finance, Hisham Tawfiq of Public Enterprise Sector, and Nivine Gamea of Trade and Industry attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the premier said this falls within plans to lure more foreign investments and promote confidence of foreign investors in the Egyptian investment climate.

Madbouli said he will periodically follow up the listing of a number of government companies in the bourse in 2022.

He noted that the companies to be listed in the bourse are promising ones that will be able to lure a large number of investors, referring to the success of listing E-Finance.
