In a statement by the CBE Thursday, Abdel Azim said that remittances from Egyptians working abroad received during the July-October 2021 period, registered an increase of 0.7% (on an annual basis), to reach about $10.45 billion compared to about $10.37 billion during the July-October period in 2020.

Preliminary data during October 2021 showed a slight decrease of 1.7% (on an annual basis) to record about $2.30 billion (compared to about $2.34 billion in October 2020), according to the statement.
