CAIRO – 12 December 2021: Egypt is at an inflection point with entrepreneurship and energy preparing the country for a technology-based future, Steven Kiefer, President of General Motors, has said.

Kiefer met with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly on Nov. 30, and on Saturday, he wrote on LinkedIn that the “Egyptian government is laying out bold plans which will support advancements in future mobility, which I was able to discuss with Prime Minister Mpstafa Madbouly during my visit… We also reaffirmed our relationship with long-standing partners the Al-Mansour Automotive group.”

He mentioned how Egypt is hosting COP27 climate conference next year, and the transformational move of government offices to the high-tech Administrative Capital.
