Egypt to offer 6 investment opportunities during Q1 of 2022

CAIRO - 8 December 2021: Head of the Internal Trade Development Authority, Ibrahim Ashmawy, revealed that 6 investment opportunities were offered during the first quarter of next year, thus bringing the number of covered governorates to about 20.

 

Ashmawy indicated in a statement, Wednesday, that these opportunities will be in the governorates of South Sinai, the Red Sea, Ismailia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Assiut and Minya, pointing out that the investment cost of these opportunities and the spaces on which projects are to be built, are underway.

 

He pointed out that the real investment opportunities that were presented by the Internal Trade Development Authority over the past three years and are being implemented on the ground amount to 21 projects in 14 governorates with investments exceeding LE 55 billion, and include logistical areas and multi-activity commercial centers, as well as strategic warehouses, covering approximately 55 percent of the governorates of the Republic, noting that with the new offering during the next year, about 70 percent of the governorates of the Republic will be covered.

 

He added that these projects are characterized by being investment-intensive as well as labor-intensive, providing great job opportunities for the people of these governorates, and raising the levels of service provision to the consumer, as well as enriching the culture of shopping and shopping in those governorates, as well as changing the commercial culture in providing service and obtaining added economic value.
