CAIRO - 7 December 2021: B Investments Holding announced the establishment of B Investments in Healthcare, with a licensed capital of LE 1 billion, to invest in Egyptian companies in the field of specialized healthcare.

 

The company said in a statement to the Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX), Monday, that B Investments in Healthcare has signed an agreement to acquire 51 percent of the total capital of the Egyptian Modern Specialized Center for Infertility Treatment and IVF.

 

It indicated that the necessary approvals from the Ministry of Health are being met and executive steps are being taken with the Stock Exchange to complete the acquisition process.

 

The statement noted that B Investments Holding's board of directors had decided earlier to initially invest LE 200 million in B Investments in Healthcare.

 

B Investments is an Egypt-based private equity firm leveraging decades of management experience and deploying growth capital across diverse sectors in Egypt. 

 

B Investments Holding recorded a net profit of LE 72.92 million during the first nine months of 2021, compared to LE 153.55 million in profits during the same period in prior year.

 

The company’s revenues declined during the first nine months of 2021, reaching LE 112.08 million at the end of September, compared to LE 189.83 million during the same period in 2020.
