He also highlighted the importance of making use of the Egyptian-Bulgarian relations, especially through the Egyptian-Bulgarian committee, to open new vistas of cooperation in various industrial scores.

He made the remarks during a meeting on Wednesday with Bulgarian Minister of Economy Daniela Vеzieva and Bulgarian Ambassador here Deyan Angelov Katratchev.

The Bulgarian minister was keen to visit the AOI during her visit Egypt.

The talks tackled the AOI vision on means of entrenching local industry, localizing technology and training human cadres in cooperation with heavyweight Bulgarian companies in various domains.

During the talks, a cooperation protocol was signed with the Bulgarian defense industries companies BIEM and VMZ to form a joint technical team to visit AOI units to stand on the organization's capabilities and decide vistas of industrial cooperation.

While inspecting AOI products exhibition, Vеzieva said major Bulgarian companies are looking forward to cooperating with the AOI which is an important industrial entity in Egypt as well as the Arab and African region.

She hailed the AOI development in various domains, adding that there is a great opportunity for promoting trade cooperation between Egypt and Bulgaria.

For his part, Terras said the AOI is looking forward to enhancing cooperation with major Bulgarian companies.
