Egypt's exports to Zambia reach $15M in 2020

CAIRO -  29 September 2021: Egypt’s exports to Zambia reached $15 million during 2020, according to head of the Egyptian Commercial Office in the Zambian capital, Lusaka Mohamed Abdullah.

 

Abdullah said in a statement, Wednesday that Egypt's exports of engineering products currently represent 15 percent of the total Egyptian exports.

 

The Egyptian Commercial Office in the Zambian capital had coordinated a visit that included a trade mission that included 15 Egyptian companies that are members of the Export Council for Engineering Industries working in the fields of producing household appliances, agricultural machinery and equipment, prefabricated buildings, car batteries, tools and electrical products, during the period 19-22 September .

 

He stressed that the visit resulted in positive reactions from the Egyptian companies and their Zambian counterparts, especially with the availability of many opportunities for cooperation that can be built upon during the coming period to enhance Egyptian exports.
