CAIRO – 2 September 2021: “Strengthening economic and trade cooperation with Egypt is of great importance to the Kingdom of Jordan, especially in light of the strong relations between the two governments and peoples, which should be reflected in the rates of trade and investment exchange,” Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply of the Kingdom of Jordan, Maha Al-Ali, said Thursday.

Al-Ali stressed, during a meeting held by the Egyptian Minister of Industry, Nevine Gamea, Thursday, the importance of strengthening the role of the private sector in the two countries as an essential partner for the development of joint economic relations, especially in the fields of industry and trade.

The meeting came as part of a series of intensive meetings held by Nevine Gamea, with a number of ministers of trade and economy participating in the activities of the 108th session of the Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States, which started this morning, at the ministerial level.

Gamea pointed out the keenness of Jordanian companies to participate in the activities of the next session of the "Our Heritage" exhibition for handicrafts and heritage, especially since this exhibition has become one of the distinguished exhibitions for this type of products.
