‘Made in Egypt’: first exhibition encouraging Egyptian products

CAIRO - 6 July 2017: A new exhibition called Made in Egypt launched Wednesday for the first time and will run until July 9 at the Cairo International Convention Center to showcase Egyptian products.

Organized by exhibition organizer Express Arab, the exhibition spans 10,000 square meters and operates as a platform to gather clients, customers, investors and production businesses.

The exhibition features 350 companies ranging from Egyptian manufacturers and producers of 100 percent Egyptian products and commodities, according to a released statement by Made in Egypt’s official website.

Approximately 20,000 visitors are expected to visit the exhibition daily. The exhibition also aims to combat the recent inflation in the country through offering a variety of affordable Egyptian products to attract more consumers.
