CAIRO - 28 April 2021: The Ministry of International Cooperation has launched the first private sector joint coordinative cooperation platform titled "digitization to empower the private sector" to enhance multilateral and bilateral development partnerships and the private sector in Egypt.
The platform, held virtually, was attended by two private sector companies and more than 70 multilateral and bilateral development partners.
Minister of International Cooperation Rania el Mashat said the platform is one of the economic diplomacy principles launched early in 2020 through which interactive meetings are being organized in the various sectors to include parties concerned and government bodies in Egypt as well as multilateral and bilateral development partners to create a transparent dialogue and connect the parties concerned to enhance international partnerships for sustainable development.
Egypt has reached great achievements in the field of digitization and seeks to boost its status as a regional hub for entrepreneurship and innovation, she said.
