CAIRO - 25 March 2021: Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Guma and Internal Trade Minister Ali Moselhi signed on Thursday a cooperation protocol to provide 600 tons of meat to needy families as part of Adahi Sukuk project.

As part of the project, Sudanese cows will be slaughtered, packed and transported to different governorates under the supervision of the two ministries.

The Adahi project is an ideal model for voluntary work that aims at serving public interest without being motivated by any material or financial gain, the two ministers said in press statements.

The value of sacrifice voucher (Adahi Sukuk) this year is 2,000 pounds, they said, adding that the price is based on the average price set by the Ministry of Supply of imported cow heads, estimated at 14,000 pounds each.
