EGX ends Tuesday on mixed performance

CAIRO – 04 July 2017: The benchmark index EGX 30 of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) lost 0.72 percent to reach 13,335 points on Tuesday.

Also, the small and mid-cap index EGX70 increased 1.40 percent to end at 664 points; and the broader index EGX100 added 0.77 percent to the level of 1,527 points.

Market capital kept the last session’s level, totaling LE 694 billion ($38.7 billion).

Foreign and Arab investors were net buyers with a total of LE 36 million and LE 12 million, respectively, while Egyptians sold by LE 48 million.

Total turnover reached LE 722 million, up from LE 611 million on Monday.
