CAIRO - 24 February 2020: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and EU Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process Susanna Terstal discussed the latest development of the Palestinian-Israeli cause on Sunday, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ahmed Hafez in a statement.

"Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry reviewed Egypt’s vision towards settling the cause, as the Palestinian people should reclaim their legitimate rights and establish an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital," Hafez said, adding that Egypt affirms its full support to the peace process to reach a just and comprehensive settlement to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
