CAIRO - 17 September 2019: Media advisor of the Egyptian Embassy in Sudan Abdel Nabi Sadek confirmed that the Egyptian-Sudanese relations are distinguished and special, pointing out that Egypt has never hesitated to stand by its brothers in Sudan.

In a Tuesday interview on the Sudanese TV, Sadek added that Egypt has always supported Sudan and that Egypt and Sudan are one Nile Valley people.

Against this backdrop, Egypt is seeking to bolster and strengthen relations with Sudan, he noted.

The Sudanese security is part of the Egyptian security, he pointed out, adding that the media in the two countries should be working to boost bilateral relations.

"Sudan's security is part of Egypt's national security and the circumstances Sudan undergoes affect Egypt, especially in light of the changes in the region," Sadek said.

Sadek clarified that he is seeking to make room for the Egyptian private sector to undertake projects in Sudan, expressing the aspiration to increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries.
