Cairo – 20 October 2017: Qatari Leaks website published a video on Friday claiming to show how Qatar played a role trying to destabilize the Arab nations and spread division among Gulf countries.

The video says that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), established in 1981, was a regional, governmental, political and economic union. But from the beginning Qatar was an outlier.

The Middle East Institute senior fellow, Alex Vatanka, said that the reason why the GCC states united more than century ago, is the fear of larger neighbors like Iran and Iraq. He added “but it seems that Qatar wanted to be the smartest one of the group, among the GCC states, and decided that the future will be for the Muslim Brotherhood.”

Another video published on October 17 by Qatari Leaks claims Qatar’s plan to destroy Yemen was to support Muslim Brotherhood factions in Taaez city and to use its media against the Arab alliance in Yemen. The video also claim Qatar is working to sponsor an agreement between the Brotherhood and the Houthi tribes.AL Houthyeen.

It’s plan, Qatari Leaks alleges, is to create divisions between resistance units and assassinate soldiers and leaders of the Yemeni national army. Moreover, it is preparing for a battle between the Brotherhood and their opponents in Yemen, Qatari Leaks reported.

The alleged mastermind of that plan is a Brotherhood leader called Abdel Azziz Mansour. The funds are given through a sheikh who is travels between the Qatari capital Doha and the Yemeni capital Sanaa, Qatari leakes added.

Concerning the Qatari’s attempts to target Saudi Arabia, the Islamist researcher Hesham el Nagar said that Doha is hiring opposition members and terrorist groups. That is why Arab countries demanded Qatar stop giving the Qatari nationality to enemies of Arab and Gulf countries.

Additionally the member of Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed el Anany, claimed Qatar’s plan to destroy the Arab alliance is a part of a Turkish- Iranian plan to harbor individuals that oppose the Saudi state.
