CAIRO - 21 July 2017: A number of activists circulated on social media websites in the Gulf State and among them a video calling the United States of America Administration to quickly close U.S. military base "Al Udeid" located in Qatar.

Demands to close the said base were subsequent to the misconduct of prince Tamim and his support to terrorism and extremism in the Middle East and the world.

The video shows that the U.S. base serves the interests of the emirate of terrorism more than U.S. interests, where Doha Administration views it as an American undeclared support for Qatar terroristic activities.

The video confirms that U.S. military base helps Qatar to challenge Gulf measures to prevent its support for terrorism. Qatar is the smallest emirate viewing the Persian Gulf; however the most problematic country and the closure of the U.S. military base would force Doha administration to have second thoughts concerning its misconduct.

Al Udeid Air Base is a military base southwest of Doha, also known as Abu Nakhlah Airport. It houses Qatari Air Forces, and U.S. Air Forces and other coalition personnel and assets.

According to media reports in June 2017, the base hosted over 11,000 U.S. and U.S.-led coalition forces and over one hundred operational aircrafts.
