3K nurseries to be developed in Egypt’s countryside this year as part of Haya Karima

CAIRO – 7 March 2022: A total of 3,000 nurseries are being developed in Egypt’s countryside as part of the Presidential developmental initiative “Haya Karima.”

 

Mohsen Naji, Director of the National Program for Early Childhood Development said that the Ministry of Social Solidarity seeks to develop the infrastructure in nurseries, human cadres, and all administrative cadres in nurseries, adding that human cadres are trained within nurseries on strategies. Modern education and taken by the Egyptian state in recent years.

 

He continued, that there is a goal of training these cadres so that the child can go to different nurseries to enjoy, play and have educational goals, and this helps to improve educational care until the age of 4 years old.

 

Naji added that the ministry worked to develop more than a thousand nurseries within a year and a half across the country, by developing the infrastructure for nurseries and equipment for these places, and training staff on national standards for accrediting nurseries so that they can improve performance.

 

He pointed out that it is scheduled to develop more than 3,000 nurseries during the current year in the villages of Haya Karima, adding that it is expected to complete the development of 12,000 nurseries at the level of the governorates within the next 3 years.
