CAIRO – 2 March 2017: A five-star hotel has opened in Rehab City on the Cairo-Suez road, 30km outside Cairo, on an area of 8,500 square meters to meet the needs of dogs,

Pakistan Tribe

reported.

Hotel manager Azza Ayoub told

Al-Arabiya

that the hotel was established to take care of pet dogs and offer medical and psychological services for them, as well as hosting dogs when their owners are away, because most hotels don’t allow guests to bring their dogs. Now, they can leave their pets at Ayoub’s hotel.

There are 15 rooms in the hotel, which offers the dogs two meals per day, and workers in the hotel take care of the dogs psychologically and health wise and take them out for “fun and entertainment,” Ayoub added.

The hotel has hosted several purebred dogs in addition to mixed breeds. Prices vary according to the kind of the room and services offered; a single room in the hotel costs around 100-200 Egyptian pounds ($6-12) per day.
