Water to be cut in Moqattam on Friday, Saturday

CAIRO – 23 February 2017: The Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Cairo announced Wednesday that water will be cut off in the neighborhoods of Moqattam and Mearag, from 4 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday.

The company said that the cut-off is due to planned transformation of a water line in Moqattam,

The statement urged residents to begin storing enough water to last until Saturday morning. The company will provide water cars in the affected area, accessible by calling 125.
