BUDAPEST - 4 July 25017: The Visegrad summit kicked off here on Tuesday with the participation of Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and leaders of the grouping, which includes Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Egypt is the first Middle East country to be invited into the summit and the third worldwide after Japan and Germany.

The summit reflects keenness of the grouping member states and Egypt to promote relations.

The summit will take up several topics including the Egyptian role in the Middle East and cooperation in fighting terrorism along with illegal migration and energy security.

After the summit, the leaders of the four member states and president Sisi will hold a joint press conference to expound the outcome of the meetings.
