CAIRO – 11 March 2021: Around 92 percent of the works of the governmental district in the New Administrative Capital has been accomplished, announced Khaled Al-Husseini, spokesman for the new administrative capital.

“The administrative capital is a declaration of a new republic given the technical equipment located in the government district,” said Al-Husseini, as he referred to the gradual relocation of people in the new capital will lessen the overcrowding in Cairo.

He added that a total of 10 thousand housing units have been built so far, which will be alternatives for public servants who relocated in the new capital’s governmental district. They also have another option of receiving money instead of a housing unit.

Works are in full swing to provide the housing units with natural gas, water, electricity, and smart infrastructure.

The spokesman for the new administrative capital explained that the list of incentives announced for public employees is part of the facilities provided by the state to employees who will move to the administrative capital.
