CAIRO – 8 March 2021: Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Amr Talaat stated Sunday that optical fibers are being introduced in 32,000 governmental buildings at a cost of LE6 billion.

 

That is within "Digital Egypt' project aimed at achieving digital transformation in governmental institutions ensuring interconnectivity among them and reliability of internet services.

 

The minister stated that the work is halfway through the duration that is three years, and that optical fibers were introduced in 12,000 governmental buildings.
