Traffic services to be intensified on high ways

CAIRO - 3 July 2017: Assistant Interior Minister for the media sector Maj. Gen. Tarek Attia said on Monday that security measures will be intensified and the number of emergency vehicles will be increased on the desert high ways and other high ways.

The number of security personnel will be boosted to monitor the security situation and the adherence of drivers to the legal speed, upon the directives of Interior Minister Magdi Abdel Ghaffar, Attia said in statements to MENA.

The directives also include intensifying the traffic and security services on high, desert and agricultural roads as will as monitoring violations through the main operation room.

Meanwhile, Attia pleaded with citizens to abide by the traffic instructions to guarantee their safety on the road.
