LONDON - 3July 2017: The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that 11 persons, including women and children, were killed in international coalition airstrikes on areas in the northern Syrian city of Raqqa.

Alhurra news channel quoted the Syrian observatory as saying that several civilians were injured in the raids.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) pierced militant-held Raqqa from the south for the first time on Sunday, crossing the Euphrates River to enter a new part of the Syrian city.
