US, Denmark embassies praise Egypt’s handball team performance in quarters

CAIRO – 28 January 2021: The U.S. Embassy in Cairo praised Egyptian men’s national handball team performance in the quarter-final game in the championship, in which the team lost to the Danish team, according to a tweet on the embassy’s Twitter account.

The tweet read: “You’ve done your best…You lost because of a wrong strike, but remember that you are one of 8 best teams in the world.”

Also on Twitter, The Danish Ambassador to Cairo Skand Oling expressed his deep respect to the Egyptian team for its “amazing” performance during the quarter final game, which was a meeting between both country’s men’s handball team.

The game concluded with results: 16:13.
