CAIRO –2 July 2017: Qatar’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thani said during a press conference held on Saturday in Italy that stands ranks at the bottom of the list of countries supporting terrorism.

He explained that the accusations leveled against Qatar such as supporting terror organization, is not applicable only on Qatar, but also other countries in the region.

The video of the minister saying the aforementioned went viral on social media platforms, in which was by seen as confession for Qatar support for terrorism.

In June, Egypt, UAE, Saudi and Bahrain along with several countries declared cutting ties with Qatar for accusing for supporting and funding terrorist groups targeting the safety of the region.

The Qatari foreign minister said also on Saturday that the 13 demands made for Qatar by Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt, were designed to be rejected.

The four Arab states gave the Qatari authorities ten days to approve a number of requests, which included severing ties with terrorist groups, closing down the pan-Arab Al Jazeera satellite channel, downgrading ties with arch-rival Iran and closing a Turkish air base in Qatar.
