CAIRO – 31 December 2020: Over a phone call, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi congratulated his Algerian counterpart Abdelmadjid Tebboune for his recovering from coronavirus, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said in a statement on Thursday.
 
President Sisi wished Algerian president and people welfare, peace and prosperity, he added, noting that the two leaders tackled ways of enhancing bilateral relations to fight the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and discussed a number of regional issues, especially the Libyan crisis.
 
Both leaders agreed to maximize and strengthening the economic and trade tires, Radi continued, saying that Algerian President Tebboune praised Egypt’s balanced and wise efforts to deal with various regional issues based on its central political power regionally and internationally.
