CAIRO, Dec 26 (MENA) – Egypt’s Dar al Iftaa said it is not forbidden according to the Islamic Sharia to use the coronavirus vaccine, which is said to contain a porcine substance, as long as this substance has been transformed into another new one.
In a fatwa issued on Saturday, Dar al Iftaa said the porcine substance has been transformed into a new one during the manufacturing process of the vaccine, therefore it is not considered a pig anymore.
In this regard, Dar el Iftaa has allowed people to be treated by the coronavirus vaccine when its manufacturing substance is transformed into another one.
