Government takes right decisions just for sake of state, citizens

CAIRO - 2 July 2017: Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said on Saturday the government is taking right decisions just for the benefit of the state and the Egyptian citizens.

At a meeting with the ministers of housing, social solidarity, military production, petroleum, trade, industry, irrigation, public sector, tourism, planning and transport, the premier added that the government is keen on continuing the implementation of social protection measures along with taking steps to achieve economic reform.

Ismail ordered intensifying inspection campaigns on means of transport and markets nationwide to make sure that a recent decision to raise fuel prices would not be exploited.

He also issued directives to give priority to offering supply commodities at favorable prices and in appropriate amounts, and tightening control over the market to confront rising prices.
