CAIRO - 16 December 2020: Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation El Sayed el Quseir discussed on Wednesday with his Malawian counterpart Lobin Lowe means to boost agricultural cooperation between the two countries.



Quseir expressed the Egyptian government's support for brotherly African countries, pointing out that his ministry is ready to offer all kinds of support to Malawi in the agricultural domains including training, capability building, fish farming and expertise transfer in the fields of veterinary vaccines.



He also said that his ministry is ready to receive Malawian cadres to get training at the Agricultural Research Center which is one of the biggest research sites in the Middle East.



For his part, Lowe thanked Egypt's political leadership for the support it offered to the Malawian government during the COVID-19 crisis as well as its support for Malawian students studying in Egypt.



The two sides agreed to increase trade exchange, open Malawian markets for Egyptian products and export Egyptian fertilizers, citruses and vegetables with activating agreements signed between the two sides in the past years.
