President Sisi follows up on integrated services centers for roads, axes network - Presidency

CAIRO – 5 December 2020: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi urged establishing a system of service centers for roads and axes network, in a way that integrates with the national roads project in the country, the Presidency said in a statement.

This comes with the aim of providing all means of safety and comfort for citizens, as well as achieving investment and economic revenue, securing new job opportunities in these centers and expanding development through making optimal use of lands on the sides of roads and axes.

Sisi’s directives came as he met with his advisor for urban planning Amir Ahmed and CEO of the National Company for Roads (Watanya) Magdy Anwar.

Anwar has reviewed during the meeting the executive status on progress made on upgrading services for many roads and axes nationwide and developing the surrounding lands on service, economic and investment sides.
