CAIRO - 1 July 2017: Former assistant foreign minister Ambassador Mokhles Qotb on Saturday asserted that the 30 June Revolution has rectified efforts by the international community for fighting terrorism.

In press statements, he added that the revolution has established a clear plan for uprooting terrorism starting from comprehensive confrontation to drying up its sources while focusing on the intellectual aspect in confronting the extremist thought.

The revolution, he added, constituted an important development at the international level as it undermined the common way of thinking and strategy adopted by the West since the events of September 2001 which is based on changing the structure of the Middle East through spreading the so-called "constructive chaos".
