CAIRO- 20 November 2020: Egyptian and Sudanese military production institutes signed on Friday a a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in various manufacturing fields.
 
Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi witnessed the signing of between the National Organization for Military Production (NOMP) and Sudan’s Military Industry Corporation (MIC), according to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry on Friday.
 
Signing the MoU comes in light of historic and close relations in the military production field between two countries, the statement added.
 
Meanwhile, Egyptian Army’s Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid has attended the main phase of the joint training ‘Nile Eagles 1’ conducted by the Egyptian and Sudanese air forces in Sudan’s Marwa air base.
 
Special forces from both countries are also taking part in the exercise.
 
The main phases including a detailed explanation of the combat missions and training activities, which are execute by the forces in the exercise. This assessed the degree of preparedness of the military pilots, officers, technical teams as well as special forces elements.
