CAIRO - 14 November 2020: Egypt is keen to boost relations with Zambia at all levels, particularly in the economic and investment fields, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady quoted President Sisi as saying.

 

This came during President's meeting with Zambian Foreign Minister Joseph Malanji in Cairo on Saturday.


Egypt is keen to boost relations with Zambia at all levels, particularly in the economic and investment fields, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady quoted President Sisi as saying.



Egypt is also eager to continue coordination with Zambia to reinforce mechanisms of joint African action in a way that helps maintain Africa's stability, the president added.



For his part, Malanji conveyed a message from Zambian President Edgar Lungu to President Sisi on ways of boosting relations between the two countries in the economic field.



He also voiced his country's readiness to cooperate with Egypt to overcome issues facing African countries.



The meeting also tacked means of promoting security cooperation between Cairo and Lusaka to combat the phenomenon of cross-border terrorism in the continent, added the spokesman.
