CAIRO – 12 November 2020: Egypt strongly condemned the brutal attack perpetrated in northern Mozambique by extremist militias, killing more than 50 civilians, including children, announced the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement.

“Egypt also reiterated the need for concerted efforts by the international community in order to eradicate the scourge of terrorism and extremism, stressing that such despicable terrorist acts aim to destabilize the African continent, and have no relation with the true essence of the tolerant Islamic religion or any of the religions and human values promoting tolerance, fraternity, stability and peace.” the statement read.
