CAIRO – 9 November 2020: Former Secretary General of the Arab League and former Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs Amr Mousa presented in a phone-in Sunday his perception on Egypt-U.S. relations under the coming Biden Administration.

Mousa said that Egypt has been stable for the past years. Hence, the coming U.S. administration – whether Republican or Democrat - will deal with it as the only stable state in a simmering region.

The former Arab League secretary general noted that Egypt must be frank about the challenges it is facing, and realize that diplomatic ties revolve around the concept of  give and take.

The former minister of foreign affairs added that although there will be points of disagreement, the next U.S. administration will perceive Egypt as a state whose economy is developing, and that constitutes the fulcrum of the region's stability.
