CAIRO - 1 November 2020: The Union of Arab Tribes in Egypt and the Union of Libyan Tribes signed a cooperative protocol for facilitating the service of Libyan’s interests in Egypt, reported Libya Al-Hadath on Sunday.

The protocol, which was signed in Cairo, aims at tackling the issues that Libyans in Egypt face. It also provides facilitating procedures for the entry of Libyans into Egyptian lands through all ports, besides reducing entry and departure fees.

A series of meetings will be arranged with the Egyptian government regarding the situation in Libya.

In July 2020, a delegation from the Libyan Tribal Leaders visited Egypt and met with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, mandating him to intervene in Libya in order to stop Turkish assault in Libya.
