CAIRO – 19 October 2020: Some 350 kilometers away from Hurghada in Red Sea governorate, sits the Hankorab Beach, known as the Egyptian Maldives.

 

The beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Marsa Alam city, and was categorized by the UK newspaper Mirror as one of the best beaches in the world. It also ranked third in the Middle East region.

 

The distinctive beach attracts tourists; everyone visiting the city of Marsa Alam spends a whole day there. 

 

It is known for its soft, white sand, and clear waters. Also, marine activities like diving and snorkeling are among the activities that tourists can enjoy there.

 

The Hankorab area includes Sharm el-Luli Beach, and the Mangrove Tree Beach.

 

Egypt’s Sharm El-Luli beach made it to the top ranks of TripAdvisor’s list of 10 best beaches in the Middle East in 2018.

Sharm El-Luli beach, located in Wadi El-Gamal National Park at the Red Sea resort of Marsa Alam, is distinguished by crystal-clear water, white sand and the absence of rocks.

In 2017, the beach came third on the same list and eighth in 2016.

 

TripAdvisor is accessed by around 390 million visitors in 49 markets worldwide every month, according to the website’s data.
