CAIRO – 11 October 2020: The recovery rate from the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in Egyptian isolation hospitals has reached 93.5 percent after 97,643 recoveries were recorded in the republic, according to the Ministry of Health's statement on Saturday.

 

"A total of 51 COVID-19 cases recovered after receiving the necessary medical care, in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO)," the ministry added. The ministry continued that 125 people tested positive for the virus and 11 new death cases were reported over the last 24 hours.

 

The ministry noted that the total number of COVID-19 cases that was registered in Egypt reached 104,387 cases, including 97,643 cases that have been cured and 6,040 deaths.

 

The ministry has allocated the hotlines, 105and 15335, to receive citizens' inquiries about the coronavirus and infectious diseases. This is in addition to the WhatsApp number, 01553105105, and the Egypt Health application available on phones.
