171 Egyptians back home from Libya via Salloum Crossing

MARSA MATROUH - 29 June 2017: As many as 171 Egyptians have returned home from Libya via Salloum Crossing over the past 24 hours, Marsa Matrouh Security chief Mokhtar el Senbary said on Thursday.

Of all the returnees, 128 had illegally traveled to Libya, he said.

Meanwhile, travel procedures for 364 persons, including 107 Egyptians and 257 Libyans, have been finalized, Senbary added.

A total of 80 trucks laden with foodstuffs, construction materials and marble left the crossing to Libya, he said.

Senbary also noted that 62 empty trucks arrived at the crossing to be loaded with Egyptian commodities.
