Egyptian-Omani talks held to develop bilateral cooperation in health sector

CAIRO -29 September 2020: Omani Minister of Health Ahmed bin Muhammad bin Obaid Al-Saeedi discussed with Egypt's Ambassador to the SultanateMohamed Ahmed Fahmy ways to develop bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries in several areas, including the health field
 
 
The two sides reviewed the developments of the epidemiological situation of the "Covid-19" virus worldwide and international efforts to limit its spread and discussed aspects of cooperation between the two sides in the field of confronting this pandemic.
 
 
 
This came during the Omani minister's reception of the Egyptian ambassador accredited to the Sultanate, at his office in the ministry’s general office.
 
 
 
The Egyptian ambassadortothe Sultanate expressed the Egyptian government's thanks and appreciation to the Sultanate for the effortsto protectthe Egyptian community residing in Oman from the coronavirus (Covid-19).
 
 
The Omani Minister of Health stressed the importance of developing cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
