Arts Academy performs at Djibouti’s Independence Day

CAIRO - 29 June 2017: A band of musicians from the Academy of Arts has taken part in celebrations marking the 40th anniversary of Djibouti’s Independence Day, Egyptian Ambassador in the capital city of Djibouti Ahmed Sobhi said on Wednesday.

The academy’s delegation co-played a show as part of a concert that was attended by Djibouti President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh and the First Lady.

Also, the embassy has organized a week of celebrations including various activities attended by ministers, politicians and businessmen, the diplomat said.
